@CarnegieHall Notables: Classical Girl's Night Out

tina tang

Last night, my best friend, Sima, and I attended Carnegie Hall's Seventh Annual Notable Occasion sponsored by Nicola Bulgari.  The Notables program is Carnegie Hall's membership program for music lovers in their 20-30-early 40's.  Essentially the program encourages a new and younger audience to participate in Carnegie Hall's performances.Do we look like ebony and ivory?Sima's outfitDress: Butter by NadiaNecklace: Tina Tang Best Friend NecklaceEarrings: Tina Tang Lucia di Lammermoor earringsWe saw a young skilled Ukrainian pianist, Alexander Romanovsky, masterfully emote Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff on piano for an hour. After Romanovsky's rapturous performance, the Notables were invited to nosh and drink at the Brasserie Cognac.  Sima and I quickly made friends with two ladies next to us:Gorgeous ladies. We all bonded on ONE thing: the search for dessert. With Sima's special wink, the waiter left us an entire tray of desserts for our tiny cafe sized table of 4.This is what I wore last night (borrowing jewelry designer, Wendy Brandes' signature pose)The outfit was designed around the grey lace stockings I wanted to wear.Dress: Vintage 1950'sStockings: ExpressShoes: RepettoNecklace: Blackened Silver and White Pearl NecklaceEarrings: Silver Venus Hoops
